I love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul. sadly the Holy Spirit has revealed much of this to me as well thru hard cold experience in many churches.

I go to a healthy church now.

but my eyes are wide open.

God's grace, the Word and discernment I pray for all.

I remember many years ago there was a man from the states called John Wesley Fletcher who did a tour of a few of the churches here in Australia.

I went to one of his meetings.

He had it all. Charisma and a real "Presence" about him.

It "Felt" powerful but there was something not quite right about it.

Anyway he did a lot of "Healings" and stuff and people fell over when he prayed for them and the entire church was sucked in by his act.

Because a year later he was caught with his dick up a young boys bum in his office and was also then found out to be having homosexual relations with many other men as well and a lot of those men were well known "Names" in the christian scene.

Upon hearing this news the church that sponsored him did not even bat an eyelid.

Instead they got another travelling American speaker over called Jill Austin who also did some really strange things.

Later turned out she was having a lesbian affair with several women of the team she travelled with.

Once more the church I saw this take place in did not bat an eyelid. They just kept bringing in stranger and stranger people letting all sorts of crap run rampant.

Now that church is a rock concert hall where the worship team wears Iron Maiden shirts and the youth all do the satanic salute as they mosh to the latests Hillsong load of garbage.

Satan and his teachings have worked well.

As a follower of Christ I would suggest that you start LIVING the truth instead of preaching about it.

You PROVE the measure of your love for God based upon the amount of unconditional love (not condemnation) you show to others.

Well first off I don't believe that you are an "ex Satanist" at all. Although i will say that you have a slick line of patter that sounds good to weak willed, backslidden 'Christians,' and general unbelievers.

Maybe most people don't like to hear it but Hell exists and most people will (I'm sorry to say) finish up there. In fact it says in the bible that Hell will have to be enlarged to take the huge numbers of people who will be going there.

And you stand there saying that people who warn about Hell are cold, hard and indifferent! You are contemptible.

i went to a pentacostal church one time with a friend who attended there.. the whole time i prayed.. it was different for sure.. i was slightly amused. but i also was open to the experience. the thing i remember the most was the pastor was kneeling. and i walked up to the front and also got down and prayed. and it was so weird, he looked at me with this combined look of fear and duty. it was weird. it was like he was scared to come up to me, but had to save face in front of his members. it was jus an odd moment. i could of just been too self conscious, but i remember my gut was like that was wierd. and then approached, and put his hands on me.. and muttered stuff. and i then put my hands on him. lol

all i remember was when i went to sit down this intense heat came over me that was really uncomfortable.

a few days after that life got really wierd and yeah.

however, if he was only trying to help, or had deceitful intentions, i will never truly know. but i forgive him, embrace him as a brother, and love him anyways.

all i know is if i didnt experience that i wouldnt be where i was now.

All I know is that I called upon Jesus in my hour of need and He reached down into my dismal room and I felt the most Peace, Joy and Love I have ever felt..ever. Pure Love. I want to feel like that every day, I wish I could. Was the most amazing experience I've ever had and I knew His Love for me and for everyone. I always worried He didn't Love me but He does.

hey man, had similair experience, my whole world was crumbling and i was so freaked out and everything, and i cried out for help, from the depths of my heart and soul, and the most amazing peace came on me. also, the face of christ showed up on a towel in front of me. it was amazing. and no i was not on hallucinogenics.

that spirit that was in the flesh of yeshua, is still very much alive and breathing on this earth.

Same thing happened to me.

NO mention of hell or doom or torture when He showed up. Just an all encompassing sweet gentle love.

I too was in my room all alone.

I saw the same thing take place 20 years ago at a rahj Neeshe convention in NSW.

It was no different that what the churches do. The same babling in tongues and the same rolling around on the floor and the same joy and ecstacy and even prophecies and words of knowledge and stuff. JUST like the churches.

The only difference was they all wore orange and worshipped an old perverted guru and had lots of sex with eachother.

The only other difference was there were no bibles.

But everything else was the same. The collection of money to be blessed and the chanting and endlessly singing songs.

It was exactly the same as a pentecostal meeting without the bibles really.

Same atmosphere and presence as well.
