IF this image isn't altered,my first thought upon seeing the picture was that it looked like frost on a window. I'm not saying that is what it is, but that if my car windshield can look like that on a cold morning, then why can't anything else. Maybe it's ice. Maybe it's a fresh impact cite from a slow moving chunk of ice. Maybe it's a secret mining operation by the Beta Antillies consortium. Who knows.
