The consequences of knowing the truth.
Do you know that the more you know about the truth, the more you will detach yourself from the human world you are living right now?
The more you understand your real history, you will realize that your world is not such a wonderful land after all. And that even human still follows the same principal as other living forms. In order to advance, the weaker species will have to be eliminated. A species who are too emotional attach to this life will be forever be the underdog and a weaker species. When you realize this, you will view human emotion as an early sign extinction. This includes sympathy towards others beside your own family and care for other animals. Therefore in order to not show those weaknesses, you will have to suppress it inside of you. As a result, you will accumulate the energy to eliminate others instead of caring for others. This is the difference between the elites and the common people.
When you truly know about the truth, you will end up just like the elites. There is no right or wrong in this life, only live or die. So the question is, do you want to survive as a stronger species or be eliminated as a weaker species.

No, detachment is not necessary after the truth is known, only before - because afterwards, it is seen there is nothing actually worthy of either detachment or attachment.
I am like the space which permeates all objects, and is yet undefiled. I am of the nature of Absolute Consciousness. I can now cognize my Reality to be no other than That.

So you plan to eliminate others that you consider a weaker species? You would eliminate your own Grandma?

When the time comes to an extinction level, do you want your whole family to die together?

Re: The consequences of knowing the truth.
One could look at it rather as emotions being an evolutionary driving force as in the case of symbiogenesis, and the elite being an evolutionary throwback halting, reversing or even terminating the evolutionary process for humans.

The question then becomes how we get over the hump of the next leap for man being at the expense of the old, when the new, by their very nature, are weary of eliminating even the worst of the old.

And that is only if we agree with the basic premise of evolution. And maybe this is where God comes in.

I once wrote a story, since lost in the mists of time. Its central premise was a man who lived a nice wholesome life and before he died was visited by a lizard man who asked him how his life had been. "Good," was the reply and the man had no fear of death.

So he died and found himself in the body of his son. He worked with it, and at the time of his death the same visitor came and asked the same question, and recieved almost the same reply.

Again he died but awoke in his grandson's body, this time he started taking drugs and ended up murdering a prostitute himself recieving mortal wounds and as he lay gasping for breath, the lizard man leaned over him, and smilingly asked the same question.

Just another boot stamping on the face of man for eternity. I don't believe it.
