Religion makes people so incredibly stupid...

And what do you mean by "stupid?" What is stupid to you may be the truth to others---------isn't that what most people believe? "Your truth is your truth and my truth is my truth and let's all have lunch together." What is it, then? No, in most cases, it's Your truth is your truth and my truth is my truth and I KILL you for being different." YThat's mostly in the East, though. And some EXTREME fundamentalists of all persuasions occassionally over here also. Not the norm. We basically live in a morally relativistic, "no ultimste truth so you make your OWN truth" kind of world.
