Anonymous Coward User ID: 317023 United States 11/03/2011 11:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I finally ordered one of those e-cigs just today. I know, it's still nicotine, but everyone who writes about them say they're great. No tar, additives, smoke, just vapor. So, as much as I want to be a non-smoker, I haven't had much luck so I figure if I can at least get rid of the smoke, I'll be better off. They say you don't get any smelly shit like your breath, clothes, no stinkin' ashtrays. Anyway, really glad to hear of all those that quit. I hope to be among you eventually. But I am looking forward to being a "vaper", instead of a smoker. |

Psychotek Vigilantes need love too.... User ID: 1484907 United States 11/04/2011 12:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You can do it too! Just imagine a fat jowled tabbaco executive laughing in your face every time you light up. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4591032 Laughing at your future illness while you make his pockets fatter and his smoke free lungs fill up with fresh laughter. I quit 14 years ago. It DOESN'T get any easier. (I dreamed of smoking for several years after. I feel like it I could lite one up any day, and it would just be natural.) What keeps me clean is this.... I have always repeated to myself, "No one has EVER died from NOT having a cigarette. But thousands have died from starting with one" I have stayed strong for many years... So can you. Last Edited by Travis Bickle on 11/04/2011 12:29 AM One of these days... A *REAL* rain is gonna come and wash all this scum off the streets. |

I'm using the GLV2 with a 510 high resistance cartomizer and some 18mg Cinna-Rollz juice from Digitalciggz....Good stuff. Keep on Vaping! |

Well see that doesnt do it right because you see if I didnt pay for smokes. I would still have money stolen from me by politicians and that really can not go away by giving up anything. |

Don'tBeAfraid User ID: 1110734 United States 01/01/2013 06:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Try to do some mild exercise, more if you can tolerate it. A lot of people gain weight because they feel nervous and need to do something. Your lungs can be in bad shape and so you get breathe easily after quitting. Since a lot of times people take a smoke break and do it socially, try to find some social activity to do to fill in that time, if that was your practice. If you feel like you'll return to smoking, try chewing rubber bands. If you light up after chewing rubber bands, it creates intense nausea. It's good aversion therapy. Most people will begin to smoke again at some point, but if you work with a group, there's a much better chance of kicking it longer. If you must smoke, try smoking small amounts as a treat by using a organicly grown tobacco by a source that puts no additives in it. The tobacco people smoked on the frontier is nothing like the rot that the corporations get you to buy. In time your tastebuds renew themselves now that you're not ruining them with the smoke inhalation. You're going to experience better flavors and a sense of smell too since your olfaction is not overwhelmed. This will tend to increase appetite so try to eat sensibly, maybe the Paleo diet if you can. Smoking coats the alveoli of the lungs, and so your oxygen in the blood is lower. Remarkably your health will recover some, and your endurance. You may find yourself coughing up coated phlegm since dust cells are trying to sweep away the tobacco coating. Don't be alarmed, be relieved. Because your sense of smell will get better, little things like the clean smell of a woman fresh from the shower will make you insanely horny. Things like the wonderful smell of a just peeled orange will be more noticeable too. Good for you for quitting!
