Face it, guys...we will NEVER see any benefit from the money we send to them. Best thing I can think to do besides merely complain is to stop sending them our money! Been saying exactly the same thing for years. Solar, wind...not nearly ready to take over as the main source of energy in the US, but I get it...and believe it or not endorse it and hope it becomes a larger alternative.

Problem I have with it is the massive subsidies. Why the F should we foot the bill, when the usual suspects are enriching themselves off the government teat, and then once its totally viable, will snatch it all up for themselves and become the next "BigOil"?? If it's "The future", then these billionaires should be investing capital into it, so they can cash in down the line later instead of bilking the taxpayer now AND later.

More to AC 1441880's point...just let ONE solar panel or windmill encroach on ONE microbe’s environment...and you’re going to have the eco-wackos up your ass trying to stop it. Or have it screw up someone with money and influences view or property value and its game over Johnny.
