I like OP's attitude. I'm a white guy, and we would probably enjoy having a beer together.

But y'all should stop judging me for what other white people do, or particularly what they did. Stop expecting me to pay Great Society reparations for something my ancestors never did. Stop discriminating against me, in favor of almost any other color or gender, via all these versions of affirmative action.

When all that shit stops, I'll stop seeing things by color and gender. Until then, it's thrown in my face and I won't try to ignore the elephant in the room.
