LSD: Key to real genius or the making of a real dummy?

Probably depends on who you are before you do it. It really lets you explore yourself and consciousness and can be a very enlightening experience. If you ain't smart before hand, it ain't gonna turn you into a genius. But the brightest minds have done drugs with great success for thousands of years. The not so bright? Not so sure.

If I were you, I'd start with 2-3 grams of Mushrooms. I wouldn't go for McKenna's heroic dose of 5 grams just yet. Once you know you can handle yourself in your own head, then maybe think about graduating to something a little heavier, such as LSD. The more you can read about something and understand, the less worried you'll be ingesting it and the better your time will be. Stress and uncertainty do not go well with drug use. There is nothing to fear.

Make you or break you depending on the direction of the spiritual and mental momentum you are engaged in at the time of induction. Rare it is, that one is going positive.

LSD was very intuitive for me when I was younger. I have a semester in college where I was dosing weekly. I always made the Dean's List, but that semester I made straight As.

My trips allowed my to begin to question the validity of a lifetime of empirical evidence, and showed me that there are multiple ways of looking at a problem, with infinite solutions to any given issue.

I still use the thought patterns I learned under the influence, to find working solutions to issues that others don't always see.

Granted, since then I have been a terrible employee. When I was with IBM, the multiple levels of bureaucracy that I had to navigate to implement a solution were stifling. When I left in 2003, I started several businesses of my own and have been self employed ever since.

with any drug that can impact your life, it depends on your prior life experience. Any super drug(coke, heroine, lsd, shrooms, cannabis, etc) can enhance your life or destroy your life.

If your life is awful, these drugs will make you truly wake up and really realize your life is awful, you will downwardly spin into an abyss of paranoia.

I you feel like you've abused your body with liquor and/or tobacco for too long but you have no worries and then take lsd, you might trip balls and believe that you're dieing and it can send you into a wretched panic attack.

If you believe that your girlfriend is cheating on you but you're not sure, then take cocaine, you just might spend the night trippin out presenting your own mind with delusional evidence that backs your claims.

Drugs can fuck you up big time if you do them when your life isnt going good.

When your life is going great, drugs most likely will give you a positive reassurance and a positive new outlook on how awesome your life is. When a man has a meditative mind free of anxiety and he trips acid, he may discover something incredible that can beneit mankind.

If your boss at work told you you're gonna get a 2 dollar raise, then you go and ace your college test the next day THEN have the best workout at the gym of your life then under the influence of marijuana you might truly fall into beautiful bliss under the influence of shrooms. You might have a revelation and you could gain spiritual improvement.

cocaine(a stimulant) is not even comparable to LSD(a psychedelic). ive used both and would never use coke again unless offered to me. i still to this day spend money on LSD though. and i'll probably keep buying for at least a few more years because tripping serves purpose in my life. blowing lines does NOT serve much purpose

Read Gore Vidal's essay on drugs. Gore is a genius--far greater in my opinion than a million Steve Jobs. Gore says he has tried every drug and liked none. You may also want to consider that you may be allergic to drugs. I am highly allergic to most meds. With that said, taking drugs will make you mentally stronger if you survive. The ability to endure altered states is difficult for logic-oriented people.

We are empowered, we are divine, wether you are cruising around the horn of africa in a private yacht eating radioactive shrimp imported from Indonesia, or rotting in a cage in mexico after watching your family get beheaded while vacationing at puerto vallarta beach, no one can take away from you what truly matters. so go smoke some DMT!

LSD will take you "outside the box" and give you a different perspective or though process. If one is imaginative and creative, the drug can stimulate that part of the mind exponentially. If you are tripping just to trip then you will probably receive nothing from it other than 12 hours of madness.

Yes....but I have had this same experience with amphetamines, well drugs that are similar to but are not amphetamines.
Seems that I get creative when designing something and whats weird is that I was able to figure out really complex things while on it, verses when I was not on it.
