Re: What did Depeche Mode know and when did they know it?
Not clear if they know. They might just have been ordered to make a clip of this music at the top of the WTC and know nothing about at the time.

However there are interesting things indeed.

1990 was 11 years before 2011

1 year before the famous George Bush's speech.

If we had the filming/release dates of the clip maybe we could have some clues as if somehow there was a hidden pre-knowledge of the dates of the event. But sometimes management hides and compartmentalizes things that even the people involved in the production are unaware of the reasons behind.

However i found something interesting in the new depeche mode logo. The symbol is suggestive of the event:

The logo was also (likely) revealed in the month of september, some days before the date of that news article. I don't have the exact date. The date of the news is interesting too (9/10/2012 - 1 day before 11 years after the event), but it might also be a coincidence on the part of the site news report.

Even the gestures they were making at the picture of that article are suggestives of an airplane, flying to a building, and a person doing a gesture "oh my god" seeing the airplane is going to crash into th building. Very interesting indeed.

They might be doing it for tought provoking, since they're the only band (as far as I know) that made a clip on the top of WTC, or might be hidden symbology on purpose. Or it could be both: they think they are just doing this to provoke toughts on people, but somehow some music industry management layer know the real meaning of the signal. So when dealing with this kind of judgment i believe we shouldn't be too judgmental on the artists and even direct management of them because they might not know the real reasons, and we can't read toughts. We can read just expressed and implied ideas, and even for the implied ones, might not be the original intention but a possible alternative interpretation not accounted for on the part of the person(s) doing the communication.

But some more coincidences are there.

Oh sorry my mistake. Should have written 2001, seeing a lot of 11's as we're used to when we read and research about this subject, I somehow confused and wrote 2011 instead of 2001.
