You would think that they could just call their other PTB friends and alert them w/o drawing so much attention to themselves, no? 3) Isn't it possible that these are not the same systems/technology that you've seen for the last 30 years an need to be tested? Just wondering. They are saying now its only a test in order to prevent mass pandemonium but when it plays on 11911 it will state 'THIS IS AN EMERGENCY ALERT!' -like the FEMA guy says. That will only give people 3-4hrs to get their shite together and they will thus be preoccupied self-preservation, instead of having 3-4 days (like we do) to 'settle old scores' and other such nefarious activities... ;) Ok, I can understand not wanting to cause mass panic days in advance, but that goes back to point number one. If makes no sense to say we are going to test - in advance of the test - only to actually declare an emergency. Simply declare the emergency without weeks or months of "we are going to test the system". This would catch everyone off guard, no weeks or months of speculation and/or panic. Just flip the switch without warning and be done with it. |
