Op is looking at the Earth MOID (Minimum Orbit Intersection Distance) but does not understand what it means.


It is the closest it comes to Earths orbit path (even if the Earth is not there). So it does not even come close to crossing the path earth takes around the sun.

In my book you're no dumb ass dude. In fact, nobody's factored in the the moon's pull on this 1300 ft asteroid, and it's such a shame. Moreover, they provided a simulation that's way too fast for peeeps to comprehend the finer details, but WTF, i'm just another doom junkie on here like you????
