Do you function better now? Ocd gave me a photographic memory because I have to connect the dots. Doesn't give me answers just one thing leads to another and it is always connected. Quoting: Ohwow! It was completely controlling. I was unable to do anything just once, everything had to be twice or if I was "on odd numbers" three times - even though number 1 is an odd number, it had to be more than 1. This included EVERYTHING from touching the front door key, the telephone, TV, everything you can think of - what would happen if I did not do this? I used to think my mum would die, this was from the age of 6. By the time I was 10, I so wanted to tell somebody, but was "not allowed to" - if I did, something bad would happen to my mum - this was the feeling I used to get anyway. Then one day, when I was 24 years old, I was sitting in my living room and knocked my hand against the hearth, by the fireplace, I was on "even numbers" at this point, I was about to touch it again, as I had done so many time in the past, when I suddenly stopped and found myself saying. "Do what you want, I can't take anymore, I really don't care anymore and I refuse to do what you tell me" - it was at this point that a change took place. I still had the nagging feelings and the "threats" but they became less and less until in the end, they were but a mere whisper. It took fight and determination, but this only occurred after an absolute desolate feeling that I really didn't care at that one moment, whether I lived or died. God its awful . My main rebellion against it is to mess up my immeidate living area on purpose, then turn all the water on and leave the house for a few hours. Well, not now. But i did that once. Thats how burnt out and wasted i became from it. My OCD still haunts me to this day but signicantly reduces with less external pressure. Unfortunately the corrupt family court system has my OCD going through the roof as of late. :( :hiding: One quick note. I once heard an idea from the Jane Roberts seth books is the same mechanism behind OCD is the same as souls attatched to earth trying to recorrect past mistakes and in effect changing their past ( or atleast trying). Im just a latrine in a judaic controlled society. As a result, the MSM can get away with taking a leak on me. |

Hi! OCD is destructive, it can end up ruling your life. Try to think the exact moment that it started for you. Something triggered yours off, something triggers all OCD off, but the reasons are different for everybody. You will be halfway there when you twig what the beginning cause was. It sounds like you were under control of an attached spirit and then at age 24 you finally got enough power to make it stop. ------------- A spiritual perspective on OCD ...There is something else to consider, however, and that is the role that earthbound spirits may play in anxiety disorders. Lower astral entities who want to feed off our energy will plant ideas in our heads that are designed to lower our vibration so they can get past our natural psychic barriers. (This is kind of like distracting a prison guard by throwing rocks in another direction so they can slip over the prison wall.) Often the anxious thoughts of OCD do come from lower astrals who either want to get into our energy field or keep our vibration low so they can continue to feed off of the fear they're evoking. It's also possible for OCD to arise via the attachment of a spirit that had its own anxiety issues. For example, if your aunt was paranoid about germs, and she were to linger and attach to your energy field when she departed this life, you could suddenly find yourself obsessed with germs just like she was. [link to www.muse-net.com] Yes, I could go with that, regarding a spirit to be honest. Originally, something quite bad happened to me when I was six years old. Two days later, I was watching some sort of documentary at school - ironically, it was on volcanoes - and I felt myself split from the top of my head to the soles of my feet and inside, it was completely black. There were no words to describe, but it was horrendous. I have no idea whether I had a Strep Throat Infection before six years old (will have to ask my mum), but I know that I have had that two or three times in my life, I seem to be prone to that infection. Definitely going to ask now, thanks!
