I have actually been having the same curiosity and thoughts surrounding this test. The movie "Serenity" always pops up.

While I think it would never happen, it sure would make for a wicked sci-fi movie. I'll probably be watching it, because I'm more worried about them announcing something else during, or after it, rather than it triggering some brainwashing exercise.
