Who will be turning off their radios/tvs/etc???? We have had these tests my entire life. Nothing to fear. No proof of any danger to humans or electronics..NONE Quoting: SLaPPiE I'm going to crank it up loud as hell, and laugh like a loon. Actually no, this is the first activation of a full scale nationwide test. Not the old Emergency Broadcasting System test or the localized EAS. |

Who will be turning off their radios/tvs/etc???? I don't know how to do polls, if you can? I thought you could. Anyway, I was wondering how many here will be watching/listening to the EAS test at 2 PM and how many will be TURNING OFF their radios/tvs/whatever at that time. Quoting: Laura Bow I'm on the fence about what I'm going to do, wanting to hear what others have decided and why. its a LONG NEEDED test people, there are potential reasons to need it and it is fleet(under command of Jesus himself) supported for every country in this world. |

Who will be turning off their radios/tvs/etc???? I set my DVR, if I see adverse effects on other people watching it live I will not bother to watch it.. Quoting: Mulehound That said: its just a test, nothing will happen.... Isn't that kind of a conflicting statement though? You say nothing WILL happen in your second sentence, but the first sentence gives an "if...then" scenario. Sounds like there may be a bit of doubt about the test lol. |

Who will be turning off their radios/tvs/etc???? My TV will be on... and all it is 1 more time is the below. They are testing the emergency alert system on a nationwide level since they have never done it before to make sure it works where all cable and tv and radio stations receive the signal correctly at the same time, and they are worried some stations will not have it show up as a test and the local 911 lines will be over flowed from idiots calling in for no reason causing people with real emergencies not getting help in a timely manner. That is all it is about. They do this all the time localy and via states and have done it my whole life, again this national alert system is just something that came after 911 where they set this all up, yet they have never tested it to make sure it all works correctly. Unbelievable what youboobers and conspiracy sites try to make this out to be. |
