CONFIRMED!!! Recipe change on Pizza Hut Pan Pizza

Pizza hut is the worst pizza, all the major chains are better and thats not saying much. It can be eaten only fresh out of the oven. But it hasn't had taste in almost 10 years.

They use silicone in their cheese. You shouldn't be eating that garbage.

Have you noticed it or is it just my city. Remember that buttery crust that was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Its gone, it has been replaced by processed cardboard!! I have the inside scoop on what happened. Pizza Hut has a corporate office in Plano TX and someone I went to high school with works there in a high position.
Lastnight I posted on my facebook how bad the pizza tasted and I said it didn't taste the way i remember it as a kid.
Lots of people chimed in, and then I saw the red indicator at the top of my screen. It was the person I went to high school with. She sent me a personal message and said blame papa johns for taking a majority of their customers for a lower price. Pizza hut has had to cut a lot of expenses so they are using frozen dough now that is MASS PRODUCED in a factory that also has contracts with WONDER BREAD LOL!!! She said they were using Bob Reeds Mill flour, organic powdered milk, and the tomatoes were also organic!!
Well the flour is really expensive, I buy it every now and then, it is also organic and expensive but now the frozen crust is using ole fashioned self rising flour. She said the old pizzas were on average 3.77 to make but now the cheap ones are 1.12 on average to make. Poor Pizza hut!!!
Who'da thunk it, Pizza Hut can't afford to make their raw organic dough anymore LOL!!!

hell nothing tastes the same. Let me make a short list...

1. McDonalds - crap burgers and fries

2. minute maid juice - imports their juice from all over including China..bleh

3. Nabisco - graham crackers taste like cardboard

4. Fig Newtons - what the hell is that filled with???

5. wendy's - cold and sucky

6. whataburger - 60-40 hamburger meat

7. jack in crack - formerly known as jack in box

This is how everyone knows the end is nigh.

The little Ma and Pa places are the best. Places like Pizza Hut are not very good.

So sad that Pizza Hut changed their recipe! They have always been my favorite since I was a kid participating in their "Book It!" program. They've lost me as a customer. I am a pharma rep and used to order hundreds of dollars of pizza a week for office lunches. Not anymore. I use Papa Johns or the local mom and pop pizza places. For the record, DOMINOS new pan pizza tastes a lot like the old Pizza Hut pan pizza. Not the same, but its close!

Do you have a Jet's pizza near you? They make a rectangle deep dish pizza that reminds me of Pizza Hut's old deep dish recipe.

Exactly. I don't understand why anyone would get pizza from a chain. The best is always from independently owned shops. I have not had Pizza Hut pizza in years. Don't understand why anyone would order from them to begin with.
