JIM ROGERS On CNBC: 100% Chance of Crisis, Worse Than 2008
Not really shocking to us here at GLP, but:

100% Chance of Crisis, Worse Than 2008: Jim Rogers

The world is definitely going to face another financial crisis stemming from problems in Europe, Jim Rogers said Wednesday.

"We're certainly going to have more crises coming out of Europe and America; the world is in trouble. The world has been spending staggering amounts of money that it doesn't have for a few decades now, and it's all coming home to roost," Rogers, CEO and chairman Rogers Holdings told CNBC.

He added that the crisis would be much worse than the one markets saw in 2008 because the debt is much higher now.

While I agree 100%, I can't understand why it'd be news.

I understand it IS news, but it's not news to me.

exactly...that's why I said it's not a shocker to us here...I only posted it because it's a MSM source and it's rare to see truth rather than pure propaganda. thanks for the stars!

5* What's important about this is that the MSM is being allowed to trickle information. It helps rating's of course, but those who chose to act responsibly will get responsible results, and those who do not will simply be eliminated from the gene pool. One way or another this is going down. In short for those who are slow on the uptake, what's news about this, is that MSM is finally not blacking it out.

yep...it will be multiple stages of chaos/crashes IMO. The coming crash will dwarf 2008...the FED printing will also dwarf the previous printing...the side effects will also dwarf 08 and so on...also I think it will work less and less time.

We then get another crash in say late 2013 or 2014 or so that in-turn dwarfs the coming one...

At some point it DOES end of course...probably in all out war.

The future is unpredictable from day to day...so it's impossible to know the long term. All I can say is...I never imagined 3 years ago, we would be where we are now. Just take the blows as they come and enjoy the ride the best you can!

The MSM complex are all paper pushers that make money off of the velocity of paper. They always interview bankers, hedge fund managers and financial types that promote paper equities. When they have someone on like Peter Schiff they try and discredit his opinion to keep their paper train alive.

Problem with all this cheerleading for paper by the MSM is that, when people lose their money from trusting these shills (over the years) they (the masses) are going to break out the torches and pitchforks on them (the MSM hosts and messengers)

the massive debt is the part the public just doesn't understand. they get their free or earned check and spend it and think everything is fine. on the local news, believe it or not, they're talking $4.50 gas by early next summer. add in the higher prices for food and we'll see a real slow down in the economy next year.

punk-a$$

I agree, But I think the QE is going on now, by supporting the markets and bonds. People will ignore the dreaded QE word until someone puts it in print or says exactly "we are going to QE tomorrow"
The battle right now is to keep everyone in paper financial instruments supressing PM's, trying to keep the paper equities level and the stock market elevated.
I think people are underestimating the Gold/silver wars going on right now.
Someone is supplying hard metals to the market from a private stash. (Rotchilds)to help suppress the price.

Between more QEing and the PM paper market going bust...gold/silver will no doubt explode.

Here is a recent interview from John Embry at Kingsworldnews:

"The real price of silver is in the physical market. This paper market is a complete and utter sham and when the paper market it broken, and I think we’re close to that happening, silver will double overnight into the $60 to $70 area and that could happen within months.”
