THIS IS WEIRD.... I have Dish Network in Mid Michigan.(DVR'd it also) Turned on ABC to see what would go down. It said something about a pinpoint notification alert issued for the united states expiring at 14:18??? EST I am guessing. But now Im trying to go back and see exactly what the message said because it seems to differ from others here and my DVR wont go back and my DISH Network has complete signal loss, its automatically downloading a new "program guide"?? Saying it should take ten minutes to complete or something, I cancelled it and its still fucked up. Cant explain the not letting me go back and view my DVR. NEVER HAS IT DONE THIS BEFORE. And I record a shitload of shows and rarely have a complete signal loss... btw its partly sunny here so no need for weather interference.

What the hell did the alert warning for the united states until 14:18 though?? Thats 4:18 EST right? A test should not run that long.

Well... if i read the responses here, i have to say it DID work, if it was intended to create a huge "cognitive dissonance" in people it passed the test with an A-grade, leaving everyone puzzled and thus susceptile to whatever comes next...

On the another EAS test thread linked below a guy is saying that his wife saw the test and during it she heard voices in the background who were discussing Obama's ethnicity.

Also on this other EAS test thread was this comment:

Heard something like that but couldn't quite make it out, the only thing I for sure heard was "the united states in [is] under attack".

guys im not afriad to say that i think youre all fucking nuts about shit all the time BUT...im in tennessee, eastern TN to be exact and we got the first one at the scheduled time, then about 10 mins later all our power clicked off and then right back on, so i turn on the tv and a few minutes afterwards at 2:30 ANOTHER test came on...i got really nervous when the power went out, then i read about ppl in this thread turning there pc's back on having all kinds of registry errors...this shit might be about to go down.
