Re: Anyone think the "Thrive Movement" is a scam?
No matter who makes what movie, it will never agree with the opinions and views of the people on here.

GLP is a breeding ground of fear and negativity itself. I have seen several racist, fundamentalist Christian ranting threads on here and it is quite obvious the place is populated by a healthy dose of bible thumping rifle wielding rednecks who are no better than Muslim fanatics half way around the world. These people we cannot please unless Jesus is the final answer in there somewhere.

Then there are people who still are not really affected by whats going on around them in the world; they still think everything will keep plodding along at its current pace, and the markets will right themselves and this is all just a phase. They are probably quite well-off and have secure jobs for now, content in their own self-justifying logic and sense of security in the fact that the shit hasnt hit the fan in their backyard yet. They are essentially insulated and unreachable. We cant please these people either. These people still believe we are just glorified bacteria floating on a rock.

Then there are people who are so far-gone they wont settle for anything less than Jew-zapping aliens. No matter who tries to get the message out, the message just isnt good enough, strong enough, correct enough, extreme enough, it MUST be another attempt by NWO shills. We cannot please these people either, they are just plain fed up with everything period.

A few thoughts:

1) the dude said he was the son of an influential family. I dont see that hes really hiding anything about his identity. All those 'Its BS because its P&G' is nonsense.

2) he obviously cannot take this thing as far as he would like otherwise he would sound anti-semetic and nutty. He is trying to reach a main stream audience, hence the fancy graphics, the mainstream feel to it, the big money, he is trying to be accessible. (see the last group I mentioned above, this is NOT for them).

3) the information contained is ONE person's personal view on things but does bring to light some CLEAR and OBVIOUS problems that DO need serious consideration - the central banks, the untouchable families, our very nature as humans that is ignored in the media today as we are treated like brainless eaters (just look at the quality of entertainment out there to get a feel for what the lowest common denominator is these days). There isnt really anything wrong about what he says its just not said in a way thats gonna please everyone. Bottom line is we need to fix these issues fast cuz we are all fuckin dying a slow death thanks to the NWO. If people are aware of the NWO, the bankers and the untouchable families, how is that a bad thing? Is it a shill over the counter-shill, and this is really just more propaganda from the Morgans and Rockefellers?? (see group 3 above)

The only thing anyone should be doing is watching it open-mindedly yet critically and then letting the aftertaste be their judge, not their knee-jerk egotistical reaction, and not the need disprove someone else just for the sake of wanting to be correct and getting caught up in a shit-flinging fight on an internet forum. Take what you can learn from the movie (and from countless other books, articles and things you should be taking-in) and apply it to your own life and for Christ sake, forget other people. I bet half the people on here wouldnt even give a shit if it wasnt for their precious GLP reputation.

Just my 2 cents, flame away, i wont reply.

The OP mentioned Zeitgeist.

Zeitgeist was Communist propaganda, everyone knows that.

But Thrive is from a Libertarian Point of View.

how was zeitgeist commie proganda?

becuase they used the word "sharing resources"?

The point of Zeitgeist was to get people into collective cities where the resources are shared among the group, you would not be allowed to own property.

That is Communism.

and how is that so bad? i mean renting property seems much saner than creating pieces of plastic with a shelf live of just after the warrenty runs out (planned obselessence)wouldnt you say?

as far as rights go automation of mundane tasks and repetive tasks is what technology is good for otherwise would we still not be in a cave somewhere. nothing in the zeitgeist films says anything about taking away any kind of rights. and to tie into my first point. i want the function of a video camera not the camera itself.

I truly can't believe the number of people that slam this movie without actually watching the entire thing. You complain that you dont have the time to watch it.... But you have enough time to make wrong judgements about it for hours on here. I suggest you take time to actually watch it.

Its bad because it NEVER works.

Some Tyrant will always take the reigns of power use them to whip the Individual in the name of the Greater Good.

Foster Gamble made it clear that the Individual is more important then the Collective.

You have to put the Individuals needs first.

That is the only way to preserve Individual Liberty.

Yes it is a scam.
For the AC's I did watch the movie and look at the web site.
Everything was for sale.
Now while i have no problem with people making money on a free market, publishing the Ideas in complete form for free still leaves plenty of ways to make money from them.
Consider this, how electricity is made and distributed is no secret. So why would you keep your free energy solutions secret, especially if it would endanger your life? Seems to me you would want to broadcast the plans to as many as possible, if true change was actually your goal.

The point of the Thrive movies is this:

We are ALL owned and controlled by Rockefeller, Rothschilds, and Morgans.

They own:
Energy (oil, nuclear)
ALL the Money (Federal reserve, and The Central Banks)
Media (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX AND all of their affiliates)
Health care (Own Pharmaceutical Companies)
Education (Creates an apathetic and compliant work force bent on CONSUMPTION)
Government officials (OWNED)
and
Food (GMO's, Monsanto,etc..)

Very soon we will descend into Global tyranny unless we unplug from media, remove our money from Big Banks, Stop eating GMO's, stop treating illness instead of cureing illness, find a sustainable energy source.

Period.

The Rothschild, Rockefeller, and Morgans OWN it ALL.

WAKE UP PEOPLE!

"We must keep the people busy with political antagonisms. We'll therefore speed up the question of reform of taxes within the Democratic Party, and we'll put the spotlight on the question of protection for the Republican Party.
By dividing ...the electorate this way, we'll be able to have them spend their energies at struggling amongst themselves on questions that for us, have no importance whatsoever."
~U.S. Bankers Magazine 1892

"We must go forward cautiously and consolidate each acquired position, because already the inferior social stratum of society (the people) is giving unceasing signs of agitation.
Let us make use of the courts...When through the laws intervention, the common people shall have lost their homes, they will be more easy to control and more easy to govern, and they shall not be able to resist the strong hand of the Government acting in accordance with the control of the leaders of finance."
-U.S. Bankers Magazine 1892

Well said and articulated sir. I had the same thoughts. Seems like there's no pleasing some people here. They'd argue with Jesus Himself. (The Truth itself.) The irony is Jesus was the one who is said to have said, "Even seeing you won't believe." Talk about 'too good to be true.'

You make a good point about the entertainment industry too. After watching Thrive it opened my eyes up to the fact more than ever and I'm humble enough to admit that. I mean, watch an Episode of House and what do we learn? (And yes I do like the show.) 1.) We're all liars 2.) We're all cheaters. 3.) The House always wins and saves the day. Talk about some programming, but I think we the knowledge of an inner message makes it null and void. But I can't speak for my subconscious - it might take things more seriously.

The biggest truth I think everyone on GLP can agree with or pretend to disagree with is the fact the elite, or TPTB don't want us to function in solidarity. Divide and conquer. Just like all the OWS blind hate, I'll never understand the shit slinging over this film that practically caters to the GLP mind. Maybe the GLP mind has lost it, though.

I watched it yesterday! For GLPers it might me little repetetive, but my gf ate it up like candy. ~Meaning, it's very informative for (mostly) uninformed people. Layed out neatly & easy to understand if you're new to this.

I think it's a great initiative, pointing in the right direction.

Why are the Christians so afraid of changes? It is funny to see so many Christians scared of everything that is happening. I love to see the changes. God does not make mistakes. If it is happening then it is the exact way our Creator envisioned it. How can you have faith in God if you are afraid of the Ride?

"Re: Anyone think the "Thrive Movement" is a scam?
I truly can't believe the number of people that slam this movie without actually watching the entire thing. You complain that you dont have the time to watch it.... But you have enough time to make wrong judgements about it for hours on here. I suggest you take time to actually watch it."

Re: Anyone think the "Thrive Movement" is a scam?
It's not a scam, in the same way that zeitgeist and countless other intelligent movements are pushing for changes here on earth. In fact it is possibly the most common sensical movie i have seen in many years! to all you negative people getting bogged down with your labels of communism etc. I find it hilarious that you resist such ideas. Civilisations have risen and fallen since the beginning of time and we are currently at the end of an era. Change will come. It has to. For it is not acceptable that our planet is raped of natural resources. It is not ok that 2% of the population have 90% of the worlds wealth and resources. It is not ok that 16 thousand people are dying from starvation a day. I find it frightening that you negative narrow minded idiots have absolutely zero compassion. Indeed it will be you (of the sheep mentality)who will suffer the most during the changes which are taking place, you are slaves to a corrupt system which cares nothing for your welfare! It is you who live in fear the most. So much fear that you cannot dare think outside the box for fear of ridicule - how dull your lives must be. When the shit hits the fan you think your god or the government will save you?! If you don't want to see this planet go up in smoke i suggest you wake up from the ignorant bliss you live in and assert your rights as a human being. compassion counts for a lot and i for one am happy to see that there are compassionate movements and open minded intelligent people who can see outside of their own self out there.

Re: Anyone think the "Thrive Movement" is a scam?
I googled Thrive and they have a webpage.. I agree with a the idea that we need change, real worldwide Liberty.. They sound pretty good until the "torus" crap. Mark Rodin's torus is part of the belief system.. They sound like a new age religion. The only thing.. they quote Ron Paul and have a picture up of him.. I am sure that Ron Paul is not part of the movement.

I just posted on another thread.. There is a "new" church starting in my town... called THRIVE.. They even advertised in the paper inviting people to come.."We are for anyone who is disillusioned with "church" as you know it?

Re: Anyone think the "Thrive Movement" is a scam?
Thrive is a very strange movie. I am German, and I don't like it at all. Mr. Gamble want us to believe that there are aliens on this planet who do crop circles. Please people, don't believe this crazy stuff! Don't pay money for this crazy stuff! This is really so crazy and I am glad that in Germany we don't believe people who believe that aliens come out at night and make funny signs in crop plantations. Wake up people! Don't get fooled like that by people with lots of money who only want more money. If there is free energy why does he not share? It's a scam!
