I find it fascinating that the gnostics knew the great evil, the great dimiurge, the great archon as Jehovah. They had a great fear of organized religion and were the free love child of that generation. They raised their children in a ccommunity and weren't big on marriage. They did not believe in dogma but humanity. All people must come to their own truths. Remember jesus was an essene(gnostic). The jewish people killed them for 100's of years.What ones they didn't kill the catholics later did.
