Also, they promised to reduce the amount of nuclear weapons they have - the whole point of the treaty is for all of us to eventually become a non-nuclear weapon world. the treaty does say the non-nuclear nations can use nuclear science for peaceful means. And, nobody was forced to sign this treaty. In fact, Israel refused to sign it at all. So does Israel have to abide by something they didnt sign? Is it okay that Iran be dishonest by creating the means of weaponization, when they agreed not to? If not holding Iran accountable for breaking the treaty, then is the treaty no good, paving the way for no world agreement, and everyone having nuclear weapons?
