By your own admission you are not adjusted and by your flip flopping I can see your not to bright either. I never want to be fully adjusted. That sounds like death. I guarantee you if I were a fly on the wall in your everyday life , you do A LOT of things behind closed doors that at least some people would find as "not adjusted". Still waiting on you to define sane for me though. It should be cute. Read a book by Krishnamurti...you will understand what he meant by that quote. Without a deeper understanding of K's message, you will not understand that quote. It is related to an over-attachment to a dysfunctional concept of self...a self that is not at peace with its pure essence but rather grasping for an illusory definition that has no permanence and no inherent joy. Well at least you have tried to explain it in further detail. What has permanence in a world of decay and death? I see alot of people on this site that like to call people asleep or sheeple and that they are "awake" or "aware" but they never go into any detail. Awake to what? Aware of what? Joy I can understand though and it is attainable , however not sustainable. The effects of time are largely unseen , especially the effects on us on a mental/emotional level. Only temporary things for a temporary existence. Temporary , temporary , temporary. So I guess its more about what you choose to fill it with , even if , ultimately , its all bullshit.
