My favorite holiday!

Fuck I bought 100 turkeys today to give to clients and local charity. I wish I would have known this before.

Also the price of a 22 to 23 lbs. turkey has gone up a good chunk this year

all it is, is everyone sits around and eats and watches football, it will continue.

It's a shame, really. It's my fav holiday. Good company without the drama and gimme, gimme present exchange. And, none of the overly religious crap you get with Easter.

My wife and I may celebrate Thanksgiving TWICE as she is from Canada and I am from the U.S. They are both on different dates so technically we can celebrate TWICE!!!

You shouldn't get a Turkey larger than 18 pounds. Above that the ratio of bone to meat goes way up.

I celebrate Thanks Giving in its true form. I have a large party with food and drink, invite a bunch of people over that have things that I want, get them drunk and kill them.

Thanksgiving is so ingrained in the American psychology. It will never be phased out. Thanksgiving is one of our few comforts throughout the year.

Ive seen no decor in the store except for Christmas.

I would almost forget to remind myself to hit the sales, buy a few extra Turkeys to freeze, Safeway will have em for less than ten bucks

i love the 4 day weekend Thanksgiving provides, but on the flip side I wonder how different life would be had the Native Indians let the pilgrims freeze and starve!
