I do understand what you are saying, but you must realize that you cannot judge a religion based on those who SAY they follow it but don't.

You must judge the religion based on that religion's main teachings and it's main proponent, which in this case is Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God who willfully died for us that we may be saved from damnation due to our sin.
