i am also a 32nd Degree Freemason, and i never rebelled or revealed any "secrets" ... i joined to be a part of the mainstream society... and to expand my social circle...

i don't think even the 33rd degrees have any power whatsoever... i think the real powers of Freemasonry are hidden behind the veil.

i had difficulty making friends with masons, because most of them are into power and control (of other masons)... i was never exposed to any political knowledge as referenced by John... we generally avoid talking about politics and religion... but some people will violate this at the lodges (which is annoying) and try to exclude brothers who do not believe the same...

In my experience there is only one power that can and DOES overcome them consistently and reliably, and they fear this entity, and that is the true creator of the universe.
