So stop using the agenda of promoting the negative outlook on relationships and think positively.
You live and you learn. So deal with it.

I just broke up too. Someone who isn't growing as a person or striving to improve just doesn't turn me on, no matter what state they're currently in. It sucks hurting her, but when you have to move on you have to move on.

indian guy came to my lab once. he was a formulater. had phd,real smart. could hardly speak english. he did manage to tell me and a coworker,in plain english ,stern face ,very serious...

I'm a girl, but I've been there. It's hard when you make someone your priority....when they mean everything to you, and you only find you meant little or nothing to them. It's extremely hurtful because you had reached a point of vulnerability, and gave them your heart, and they didn't reciprocate. Here's what I realized about that. If someone has such selfish disregard for you and your feelings, then they are not worth it anyway. The right person will love you as much as you love them. Both of you will care about each other equally. Nobody's perfect of course, but you will mean everything to each other. My advice....go for a sweet girl who has a humble personality. Go for a girl who's thankful and appreciative of you. That will make for a happy relationship.

It may not all be peaches and cream to you personally but to many others who are in relationships it is and they are happy.
Like I said there are good relationships and the are bad ones. Not all relationships end down the drain like you appear to say and think they all do. So stop promoting relationships as being bad and pointless because not all of them are. You are only feeling bitter because of your relationship.

It's always better to have a positive outlook on the future and not have a negative outlook like you appear to do so right now. Your relationship may have not worked out the way you wanted it to, but remember there are many others out there who do have a successful relationship and are happy together.

My advice: Stop promoting relationships to be some sort of bad thing and think positively for the future.

The main problem i have identify is that woman have expectations.

When you don't meet those expectations it gets nasty.

Sometime they have no exceptions at all. They just use you.
I had a child with that type.

But, i keep telling myself i was just unlucky.

You explained what i did. :( I thought she was this way...then she just neglected me and went off to do wtf she wanted. (sigh) excuse my language...just heartbroken here.

I had an endless string of chicks I fell neck deep in love with cheat on me, the first one (the worst) I refused to accept until I was faced with undeniable proof. I ended up in two more after that both relationships a year + and ended up in the same place. The last one ended about 3.5 years ago.

And that was also the last time I had a GF.

My mate is one of the nicest guys you could meet, sporty, does not drink etc. He married a cop and about 6 years in, she literally goes nanas. Tore him up, but the kids make it bearable.

Its sad that some women cannot accept love and actually feel better about themselves when their man treats them like shit.
