Fuck relationships~!!!

Thats what happened to me. I dont hate her for it but feel sad that she would push a good guy away and prob open up to an asshole.

I was supposed to show her I did not need her, so I am.
I leave the country tomorrow.

Did I mention I go to extremes?


But its OK. I will get home and reset my heart and go again. It was pretty cool all the same. First time I had ever seen a woman and actually lost my breath. And I almost made it too.

Most women are selfish and self-absorbed babies, basically emotionally driven bags of estrogen devoid of all logic and reasoning. Don't get me wrong, most guys are phony assholes, but women...GOOD LUCK!

LOL Thats funny as hell because I was just talking to this Indian guy the other day. Just like the guy you talked to..PHD, has two businesses and he flat out said. "Why waste your time on women, their pointless. I sex them and pay them to leave and get back to work"

By the way OP I think I am sick of this relationship BS too. I am now in the process of packing up and getting the hell out of here. Crazy I see this thread when I sit down to take a break.

Marriage is the cost of being free. To me, the moment I said "I do" to the love of my life, I felt more free than ever before. God designed marriage to be monogmoous, and permanent. He did this to protect both the man and woman's hearts. If you're not married, then there is uncertainty in the relationship, which opens the door to leaving and being with someone else. That is the very heartache we all want to avoid. Marriage, if monogomous as it should be, prevents this painful occurence from happening. People also say "why fix it if it's not broken". Marriage is supposed to give both people a feeling of security. It is a commitment to stay together....so you don't have to worry about it anymore ,and can be stress-free, and trust that your spouse really meant that promise. Eddy and I have been married right over 4 years. Sure, we have good and bad days. No marriage is perfect. The beauty of it is knowing that in the worst of times, I won't forsake him ,and he won't forsake me. In fact, we should bond together closer during the hard times . I know this is exceptionally rare today, but I can honestly say I married the love of my life. I'd rather have a bad day with Eddy than a good day with someone else. I don't have to wonder if he'll stay for the bad days. I know he's there for the good and the bad, and that's why God designed marriage to be a permanent commitment . Sorry this is long.

You are very lucky.

Please don't be so negative. Marriage and "codependency" as you call it, teaches you to be selfless. It teaches you to do things for the other person instead of thinking about yourself so much. It teaches you to learn how to forgive them, and to see the best in them despite their flaws and imperfections. And also, there's nothing wrong with needing someone. I think I'd literally die without my family. I love them so much! I take it you dont' feel that way about your family based on what you said. I'm sad that you don't know what it's like to love someone so much that you need them.

Thats the only thing I dont get, once you reach that level of self love, shouldnt you realize that you dont need them, but choose to have them in your life?

For me the choice is love.

And the thing to remember is this:

if you are strong enough to love with all your heart, you are lucky. Because when you feel that way about someone (whether its reciprocated or not) you are elevating yourself to a level not many people know.

When you fall you will fall very deep, but its worth it in my opinion.

You make a good point there. I see where you're coming from. When you first meet someone, the attraction can be so strong that it's like a magnet. After you've been together a while, things calm down a little ,and feel more normal of course. You may not have that "magnet" feeling every day, but you choose to love them. Just for the record though, that doesn't mean the romance is over. That just means you're not a teenager with wild crazy hormones anymore. LOL. Marriage takes work. By choosing to love, we can create an atmosphere for romance.
