FRIDAY, JANUARY 8, 2010
1 year ago today.



First let me just say HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD, I LOVE YOU!

It is funny, the days that stay burned in your memory. I can't tell you what day my graduation was or the day that I bought my house. I can vividly remember the days I found out I was pregnant and the day that my husband swept me off my feet.

One day that is burned in my memory until I die is January 8th, 2009. On that day not only did I find out that my youngest was a bouncing baby boy, but I found out that he had Spina Bifida, hydrocephalus, and possible Arnold Chiari II. Now God has worked in my life many many ways, but on this day, laying in a cold room, looking at my baby boy on a huge flat screen TV, God walked in and took my hand. The Doctor entered the room again, and told us she couldn't give us a prognosis and was sending us to a pediatric Nuero surgeon. She gave me a grim outlook. She began to offer abortion, I declined before she could even finish. She offered amnio, I again, declined. My baby boy was going to be just fine.

I am proud to say that on May 11th I gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy. He is now almost 8 months old and after 2 surgeries and a lot of TLC and even more Prayer he is doing wonderful and has exceeded all of the Doctors expectations. Believe in the power of prayer friends, it is amazing!

There are many times in our lives where we talk to God, but only when we need him. 4 years ago, that was me. Then things happen in life and God pushes you to trust him. It is strange how the easy way out most time is the wrong way. Being the bigger person, taking the high road, doing what is right, is usually the hardest thing to do. I cannot tell you the relief that you feel, when you are laying in a floor crying not knowing what to do and then you cry out loud, LORD I GIVE IT TO YOU, IT IS IN YOUR HANDS, DO WITH ME WHAT YOU WILL. I have been there, many, many times, and sometimes it doesn't work how you plan, because it isn't what we want...it is Gods will. I can promise you what ever God brings you to, he will bring you through.

I try so hard to explain the way I feel knowing that God is in my life, and it is something that is inexplicable, something you have to feel for yourself.

With all of that being said, I hope none of you have to experience a time so hard as I did, but I urge you, if you don't know the Lord, there is no better time than now to find him....

It's so funny how you can go 30 years and a bible verse always mean the same thing, then one day out of the blue that verse has a whole new meaning to you.
I often referred myself to that verse (Philippians 4:13) when I was having a struggle through the day, month, year or even in life, I found mental strength in it. On January 8th, 2009 I found myself repeating that verse over and over when the Doctor told my that my son would be born with Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus that he may never be able to walk or have a "normal" life. Then again on May 11th 2009 as I struggled to walk down 2 halls after a c-section to see my helpless baby boy in the NICU, then again when I got to go home and he didn't and for the almost month that he stayed there. All those times I was looking to that verse for mental strength to get me through these things. Yesterday something amazing happened. Gavin WALKED, he just let go and WALKED. He had started doing it around lunch time and everytime it was unexpected and I was very unprepared to catch it on video then finally just after supper he was off again WALKING, BAREFOOT! Jason caught it on video and of course the video went viral through my family and friends. One person made me stop and think, a friend of my Mother said This gives special meaning to the words, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." a light bulb went off, chills ran up my spine and all of a sudden it had all new meaning to me. Physical strength.

I just want to stand on a Mountain top and scream at the top of my lungs, PRAISE JESUS!

I am so very proud of all my Children, they are each very amazing and I have been so very blessed to be able to be their Mother.

I am going to bloom where I am planted.
For those of you that know me, you know I went through a dramatic change about probably 8 years ago then again about 4 years ago. I used to be very abrasive, would fight with the wall, spoke my mind and was very angry. I used to let people get me so upset that I literally couldn't sleep they made me so mad. The first revelation for me was when I finally decided to let this one particular person just hate me and I would just smile and take the high road, it worked! Eventually I decided to be the bigger person all the time. Sometimes people think the High road is the cowards way out, they wish I would stand up for myself.

Around 3 1/2 years ago I had another challenge this would be the challenge that would change the way I viewed life and the way I lived forever. I prayed hard about it, I finally found myself on my knees screaming to God, It is in your hands, what ever your will I will accept it. The outcome was not the one I wanted nor the one any of us expected but when I got on my knees and released all of it to God I MEANT it (I mean TRULY MEANT it) and I have chosen to accept it. I never really questioned why things happened the way they did, I just accepted that they happened and went on with life, was it hard abso-freaking-lutley, is it still hard, yep everyday. I think (I say think because I won't know until I can stand before him and ask) that God challenged me that day I dropped to my knees, I think he wanted to see if I really was at that place in my faith that I was. I passed that challenge, which has brought on numerous new challenges in my opinion.

I watched a sermon this morning on TV, he talked about blooming where you are planted how even though we may hate our life, house, job, spouse whatever the case is, that is where God put us and until we grin and go through life "blooming" we can't move on to the next challenge. No matter what you go through, no matter why you are where you are there is a divine reason for it and until you finish that course you cannot move on to the next. It made a lot more sense when he preached the sermon, I am far from a preacher.

So many people live life waiting for something to change before they will be happy and satisfied. They think, "If I could just get out of this small house…" "If I could just get a better job…" "If I could just find new friends…" Did you know that where you are in life is no accident to God? Psalm 37 says, "The steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord." We all have times and situations where we're not ideally where we would like to be, but take heart; God is ordering your steps for good. If you will trust God with all aspects of your life, stay in faith, and be all that God has created you to be right now, He will get you w"here you need to be. You'll not only live your life happy and enjoy your life more, but you'll be sowing a seed for God to take you where He wants you to go.


Sometimes you listen to a sermon and take absolutely nothing from it, then there are those sermons that really speak to you, that you can relate to. This was one of those for me. It kinda validated that I was doing the right thing by not running that lady over in Walmart that almost knocked me down trying to get the last bag of flour, or the smile I gave to the woman that just butted in front of me in line, I am not a push over, I am just blooming.

Reading your Bible is a step in the right direction. I would suggest you start with the New Testament book of John, then go onto the epistles (or letters) that come after the book of Acts.

Becoming "saved" is a process that starts with a seeking and willing heart. Talking to a Bible believing pastor and seeking a Bible believing church is important, too. Ones that believe the entire Bible.

Personally, I am a Seventh-Day Adventist, and have found this church to teach all of God's message: salvation by grace alone, and following current events in the light of Bible prophecy.

I searched for a long time, asking God to show me His message. He saved me when I asked Him into my life, repented of my sins, and determined to serve Him always. He has given me a peace that passes understanding, even though I have many difficult issues to deal with.

I was drinking in a bar and got into an argument with a friend. I left the bar, and walked home. A neighbor saw me crying and asked what was wrong.

I told her, and she said, "That is just the devil, and we can take care of him right now!"

She took my hands and prayed, then led me in the sinner's prayer.

I went home and went to bed, and when I woke up, something was different. I went and asked her what happened last night. She said, "You asked Jesus to come into your heart."

That makes me cry too, whats wrong with me today? I wish that would happen to me!

People that don't believe in the bible, please be kind, just for today, I'm hurting and want to hear how others came to find Jesus in their hearts! Is it really as simple as some say, or does it take a lot of learning and ????? Thank you in advance!

NOPE no sweet from me, just the facts. If this was your first human life and you born with a NORMAL mind, you got "saved" by the coming of your Father Fragment when you made and carried out your first moral choice, which on this planet is around the age of 5 on average. If you are reincarnating then it should be OBVIOUS you got saved in a previous life time.

I will not stand for IGNORANCE and play games roun thi. JESUS does not SAVE YOU. YOU SAVE YOU, and thus receive the FREE GIFT OF SALVATION from the Father when piece of his mind comes to indwell your mind. By the end of your first life you must make the choice to continue the eternal life. it is your choice.

How do I do that?

I was saved when I figured out that religion was a sham, that it was a system for control.

I was saved when I embraced Unconditional LOVE and dropped the B.S. written by mankind.

I was saved when I took responsibility for my own soul as opposed to relying on the promises of a church, or the idea that Jesus was going to do all the work for me...because the reality is...it doesn't work that way.

You don't just sit on a drumset and ask Jesus to make you a professional grade drummer and it happens...no more than you can ask Jesus to save your soul if you haven't lived a proper life. And if YOU DID live a proper life and vibrate to the frequency of LOVE, more than likely, you wouldn't have needed his help in the first place.

SO...THAT'S MY STORY of being saved.

Gurl its hard, you gotta give your life to him. Submit eveything, its easier said then done. You have to give him complete control. He is a beautiful thing to fill your heart with. Just run into his arms, say what you feel, don't hold back, don't be embrassed. Jesus is accpeting, he understands all your needs, he wants you to come to him with all of them. No matter how stupid they may sound.
Only through Jesus can you receive the father and the holy ghost. Jesus is like a gateway to God.

Through love. I was on drugs not heavy but getting to the point where I was borderline. I also was struggling with a 2 year depression, and felt there was no way out, and this was how I supposed to be. Well my alleged best friend decided one day to rat out on me, and of course I was flaming mad, I got sent to one of my moms friends house, where there was a boy,I lived there for about 1 month and me and this boy grew close. He told me all his darkest secrets and yesterday I finally told him mine. He showed me Christ wasn't as uncool as I thought it was, and that this depression state isn't how I'm supposed to be. I showed him you can come over any temptation through Jesus.

We having been dating for 2 months, and we both pretty much saved each other asses and led each other to the lord.

How do I do that?
