Closing eyes. Can you tell us what your needs are so we can pray for you? I mean if you have physical problems. Sounds like you are desperate. That's the shape most of us were in when we finally surrendered. I will withhold my story right now because there have been so many better ones already. Except to say salvation is a process. Born of the Spirit(awakening) is a one time thing. Believing preceeds receiving. Conviction is from the Spirit and teaches us the fear of God. In the first century it was called the way. Jesus is the door and the way. I trust He is gently guiding you.

It works great for me, because I did establish my relationship with Our Creator > have You?

I have no control over what the rest of the world does, unfortunately, the majority of the people on Earth are brain-washed religious believing sheeple.

My relationship with Our Creator is not a lie, there's no deception with it(~).

I was not really seeking God nor did I even know if God was even up there.


But fortunately.........he was seeking me.


"I came to seek and save the lost.....

Over a period of months my life had been spiraling downhill (1988). God then revealed an evil presence near me......after riding home from a strip club.


A few months later.....my wife brought home some tracts which included some end time material and stuff from Revelations.

As I was reading this........the Spirit of God filled the room......and I was put under a very strong conviction. God showed me that I was lost and perishing.

I then asked my wife what to do. She showed me the Scripture from John 3 about Jesus saying "Marvel Not, you must be born again."

She helped me pray to Christ......and I gave my life to Him.

I immediately sensed a great burden released from my soul......and then something new take its place there.....namely the Holy Spirit.


We then both danced around for a few hours outside.....celebrating and praising God......at 3am in the morning.


That was back in Sept of 1988.


He has been a steady flame within since that time.....and He has been very patient with me.....loving......and a real Father (I lost my biological father at the age of 10).


Jesus is alive......and knocking on the doors of peoples' hearts. He will come in......but you must open the door.


Ask God sincerely to reveal the truth to you on a 1:1 basis. Read the book of John......and ask God to open your understanding to it.

I was 8 and was pretty much scared into it during summer revival by an evangelist that had me convinced I was going to die in a horrific car crash on the way home from the revival that night and I best come on down before it happened. True story.

My 260 pound ugly bald old stinky sunday skool teacher started feeling me up.......and I ran out of there as fast as my little 11 year old legs could move...........and I have never looked back......had all the religious education and religion and contact with "religious people" that I will ever need

Thank god - weed and rock'n'roll saved me from religion.

The verse that helped get me saved when I was 21 (back in 1978) was John 3:3 where Jesus tells Nicodemus "You must be Born Again to enter the kingdom of heaven"

I was, like some other posters here, a wayward Catholic. At 21, I was looking the answer to the 2 most important questions anyone can ask. 1) Who am I? 2) Why am I here?

The Catholic Church was nothing to me but religiosity and doing and saying the same thing over each week at Mass. I figured if there really is a God, he has to desire a better relationship with us that reciting the same things every time and acting like mindless drones.

I was agnostic for a few years and the only thing I knew for sure was there was an absolute truth to who am I and why am I here, and I wasn't going to rest until I found the truth.

I studied World religions and also contemplated the Alien Seed theory and about anything else you can think of during those years.

I had never picked up a bible and read it for myself, because the Catholics don't think the average layperson can understand it.

My 2 best friends died in a car wreck one night and I was supposed to be in the car with them. This event gave me a real sense of urgency to find out the truth.

A girl I was dating at the time was a Born Again Christian, and one day a street preacher asked me and her if we have ever read John 3:3 whare Jesus states you must be "Born Again"

That was the seed that God knew must be planted in my heart. 6 Months later I asked my girlfriend to tell me about Jesus. I said the sinner's prayer and was immediately filled with the Holy Spirit. It was like I was tingling from head to toe and had warm honey poured all over me. i felt like a 1000 tons of bricks were lifted from me and I could float in midair.

I have walked with Jesus ever since. he has shown me fantastic truths and I have prayed many times for Wisdom, like it tells us to in Proverbs. The Holy Spirit has done many miraculous things in my life. I have seen my family and most of my extended family as well as many friends and strangers accept Christ and become saved.

I have also been shown a vision of Hell and know that it is a real place. Nobody needs to go there, God doesn't send people there, they send themselves by rejecting Jesus Christ as their only hope.

I hope you have said that prayer and start walking with Lord. You will never regret it!
