Except that people protest all the time in Europe(France and Iceland are a great example) and manage to get shit done because their government will listen to them because the government actually fears the people. They dont sit back and wait for the wave to ride out like we do in America.

Uh, there ARE protests similar to OWS in many European cities, and in general they're being supported by the people and establishments like the Church of England. Maybe if you actually knew anything about foreign countries rather than just throwing around poorly-informed insults you would know this.
