Luigi Tenco presented this superhit in San Remo 67. The song was rejected by the Festival and then depressed Tenco commited suicide. He was 29 years old.

His friend & suspected lover superstar Dalida made of the Tenco's tune one of her own hits. Dalida commited suicide in 1987.
