Insane loud noise like explosions coming from the sky in Florida! | |

They shoot first to see if anyone notices, this way, they are sure to have someone pay attention when they actually attack. :-) I love physics. It bonds us eternally, it's what makes our computers work, it's what's in my morning cup of coffee, it's the thing that keeps the universe from vanishing due to lack of belief... |

Eeek! (OP) User ID: 1239063 United States 11/19/2011 11:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I live in Seminole. We NEVER hear any of the displays in Saint Pete, it is too far away. Plus it doesn't explain the noise all they way across Central Florida. It was loud enough to be unignorable, indoors. There is simply no way it was fireworks. It would have to have been far larger than Disney's fireworks displays, which are barely audible in your hotel room on the Disney resort area. I am much further from that proposed point of origin, and the Broke @$$ city of Saint Pete could never afford that many incendiary devices. Last Edited by Eeek! on 11/19/2011 11:57 PM Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads... |

Sounded like artillery fire with flashes. Definitely wasn't lightning and lasted for fifteen or twenty minutes, then suddenly stopped. Never heard anything on the news or this site till now about it. |

I really have no equipment to record it with, unfortunately. people were coming out and doing alot of head scratching on my street. It was surreal. Quoting: Eeek! This same thing happened this summer and was posted on GLP with the sounds and video... I believe you... try and find the thread Never Enough Wine!! |
