Just to clarify a few earlier points guys, Frank Darabont was still involved until this point in the season. And for the next couple of episodes. Secondly, it's not the end of the season but rather, as is becoming the norm in US drama, a mid-season break (snore). It's not until the start of the second half that the Darabont-free eps really kick off. Also, regarding the 'safety' of the farm house? There are reasons and explanations coming...

I can't stand the mother of the lost girl. She is worthless dead weight barely does anything. In a real SHTF situation she would be Zombie snack in no time

Honestly I really really loved season 1, but damn.... they really really messed this season up... like how could they screw it up so utterly badly.

It's not the bad story that is bad it the total utter lack of story content in one episode, the last 1-4 episodes could have literally been told in 1 episode. They seriously need to pick up the pace or this show is done.

We record each worthless episode while we watch Boardwalk Empire. Then, after Boardwalk Empire, we watch "the walking, er, running, er, climbing, er, soapbox, er, retarded dead" and then play it back, viewing only the "good" parts. This way, each episode costs only 5 or 10 minutes of our lives that we will never get back. We simply can not stand to watch much more than that. The only reason we keep watching is to see the little girl return as a zombie to eat everyone's faces, so the idiots stop looking for her. We were quite happy when the dumb blond slut got her little gun back, and were hoping she would shoot the writers so they would have to end the stupidity. I see it's posting me as Anonymous Coward, and I also DON'T see any way to sign up.

It stay's Very close to the Source Material, It may be in the Boring Country Now, But later on it will get a lot more Intense.

I think they have Done a Pretty Good Job So Far

What Separated the Comic from others as it has So many Main characters and at any time they meet Horrible Ends

Walking Dead vs. Pack of twisted ankled Survivors

I mean how many times do you get hurt at the worst possible time? I have worked dangerous jobs and played even more dangerously in my day. No way you make such ignorant mistakes and twist your ankle, fall down, fall of horses, don't realize the water logged zombie will rip in half, etc. etc. etc. Constantly!
I am still hopeful that the writers will use all of the ankle braces they have and will continue like season 1. I just cannot stand to watch another "Survivor" twist their ankle, leave their perimeter undefended, act like they are on vacation, lose a little girl who you could have carried... ad nauseam.
COME ON! PLEASE!
I mean EVERY time with the hurt leg stuff and barely walking and every possible little thing messed up is just plain frustrating!
It really just makes the whole thing seem ridiculous, and I think that is bothering a lot of viewers.

I was really holding out some hope for this show but my suspension of disbelief cup overfloweth. I established where that mark was a few years back watching some POS movie that I think had Courtney Love and Charlize Theron in it. There is a scene where the guy (K Bacon?) who kidnapped CT's kid is defenseless and she has a gun. He manages to talk her into giving it back to him. REALLY!!! No CT you shoot him in the kneecap, you go find a screwdriver and start mangling his feet, you crush his fucking nuts with a chair etc.

Now we have a group that is well armed and can conceivably head anywhere they like to get more tinned food, gasoline/diesel, ammo and guns from every abandoned mall and gas station in SEC country. Anybody with a fucking brain would get their shit together and head for any of the hundred or so marinas between there and Key West and make a run for the Bahama's or the Dry Tortugas to ride the storm out.

But no. Instead they decide to frequent areas with lots of wood and brush right up to the side of the road. All this dramatic inter- (and intra) person dynamic is just acty shit that adds no tension to the show. That old guy is a fucking annoying liberal and the end of last Sunday's episode was so predictable that it was pathetic.

I think only Terra Nova has more inexplicably horrible flaws in the plot (is there one? It is like a cross between 90210, Lost and Jurassic Park).

AMC please focus on using the word 'Shit', showing as much nudity as you can get away with and zombie vivisection as the core components of what will presumably be the last six episodes.

It's like "28 Days Later".

Not one of the civilians (OK, they were Brits) even thought to bust into a Territorial Army armoury, or police station armoury, and get tooled-up.

Even farmers in the UK have plenty of shotguns and ammo, ideal for use against zomboids!

This has got to be one of FUNNIEST threads

I started watching it a couple of weeks ago after a friend of mine said I should give it a try. I checked the IMDB ratings which was pretty high, and gave it a shot.

After watching two episodes I asked that same friend if the rest of the season is the same as the first two episodes. He answered yes, and I quit watching.

season 1 was really good, season 2 is so retarded its a joke, unrealistic,stupid,lame,days of our lives soap opera drama bullshit, I could write a show in 5 min and it would be 10 times better. they ruined it. wtf are these writers thinking? they totally betrayed their target audience and turned it into a girli relationship drama. such a disappointment.
