Unless I am mistaken, he was constitutionally ineligible for a third term, as he had served more than half of Tsar Roosevelt's 4th term and had served his own "Dewey Defeats Truman" term in full. Johnson had only served a little over year of JFK's term, so could have stood for election twice on his own. Not that any of the niceties of "constitutional" would have bothered this criminal who occupies the white house atm. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5764625 Hillary Clinton is brilliant, extremely informed and capable, and the hardest working Secretary of State ever. She also understands the evil repugnicans better than Obama and has more courage and determination than he does. I refused to vote for Obummer in 2008. I wrote in Hillary's name instead and I'd be happy to support her again. "President Hillary Clinton" Yeah That's funny, I thought clinton was a psychopath after the video of her laughing about the death of Ghadafi. Not to mention the graft and corruption of the Arkansas years when billy boy was governor. Or the questionable deaths that seem to go along with the clinton program. Just wondering how this much criminal baggage can find any support anywhere. |

I don't think she has any interest in running again, though, seeing how shamefully she was treated by the press and by the progressive wing of her own party. If I were her I'd say fuck you all. And I think that in a nicer way, that's what she IS saying. Yeah! I think she wants to stay home now and message Bills feet and bake cookies. And wait to be a grandma now. |

Today's Presidential Tracking Poll gives Nobama a 23% Strongly Approve rating and 38% Strongly Disapprove. As the economy continues to sink and joblessness remains high throughout 2012, his disapproval numbers are bound to get even worse. The Democrat Party's drumbeat to pressure Nobama to bow out has begun, and it's going to get much louder. Last Edited by Doc Savage on 11/21/2011 12:57 AM |

Looks like they're trying hard to do just that. Can hardly see anyone getting above room temperature in excitement over the likes of Newt, plastic perry or rubber Romney. Gee wilikers, guys. Scraping the bottom of the barrel, are you? Looks from here like they're trying as hard as possible to throw another election. Sometimes it's the right strategy. |

Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly and for the same reason. Due to recent cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off. Quoting: CrazyJarhead Patrick H. Caddell and Douglas E. Schoen argued that just as Harry Truman and Lyndon Johnson decided not to pursue additional runs though they could have, Obama should do the same. “He should abandon his candidacy for re-election in favor of a clear alternative, one capable not only of saving the Democratic Party, but more important, of governing effectively and in a way that preserves the most important of the president's accomplishments. MJ-13 User ID: 860177 United States 11/21/2011 02:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Good post OP. Unfortunately, I don't think Obama will abandon anything. If you look at his current and long standing position of throwing congress "under the bus" in order to divert blame away from all of his mistakes, in his mind, there's no one that can run the country any better under those circumstances. And with just that alone, he won't turn the reigns over to Hillary and Bill. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 776657 United States 11/21/2011 02:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Face it on both sides of the fence we have shitty options, the only decent one is ron paul but, because of the constant media he can't win bullshit and them not giving him any debate air time sadly their propaganda will most likely work. I'm shocked that no one has asked yet, in the greatest country in the world is this REALLY all the options we have for president... if that's the case then all my hope of the future is dead, because if these people are the "best of the best" then we are truly as a species completely and utterly fucked. |
