Denver is CIA land now. That stuff, the base, the satellites, the underground nuclear powered facilities in the mountains, was being prepared in the 1980s under Reagan, for the Star Wars program, as explained to the public. This included antennae to cover and provide surveillance for the entire Northwestern hemisphere, and possibly all the way to some outer planets. Anyways...

He locked himself in, of course he must be under a lot of stress. And still I wonder because it's a secure facility, how this got leaked to the press? Some goofball reporting an evacuation? What did he see or what did he do to cause his resolve to crack?

Ah no, it's probably just the psy-ops that has been affecting the western republic...er, I mean the USA military, (erase western republic from your memory). He probably realized that those satellites above are creating distortion patterns to preserve the holographic earth that we all think we are collectively living in, and without them, our worldline would have much more freedom.

Ah too, it's those temporal wars, the time and space wars, where somewhere in the Revelations program, giant things like flaming boulders are supposed to fall from the sky. And somewhere, a dozen believing Christians think that St. John was talking about satellites. Now it's mind over matter to get that belief rolling, using The Force upon this security guy.
