Heavy Snowfall with Thunder aims the New England areas on Wednesday

A strong surface low moving through the Midwest today will bring heavy rain there, but set the stage for heavy snowfall on Wednesday across the New England areas.

The surface low will track through Southern Pennsylvania and out into the Atlantic through the Long Island area. This will bring rainfall in those locations, but a northeast wind into it over New England will bring the colder air in from Canada, setting the stage for significant snowfall.
