Quoting: SkepticalTexan you would be correct. insider trading is NOT illegal for congressmen. they do not live by the same laws they create. Please cite this law they have created to emempt themselves from insider trading. You can't because it doesn't exist. And they are not immune from insider trading laws, it is a misconception that they are exempt only because the laws are not enforced.
