hmm. I watched it a few times. Not sure WHAT to make of that..

No GPWS on board and hit a hilltop. . . Above was my conclusion as well, except the plane does not have to be full of fuel to go boom. . . Not FULL per se, but not empty. When an aircraft crashes when it's run out of gas, the only "good" thing is that there's little (if any) fireball. This plane, however, made quite the fireball. _
