If your grandfather was a 33rd degree Freemason, does that mean anything at all?

If any male members of your family have been or are in the Freemasons they had to have been grate men. I am a 26 year old man living in Georgia and I have been a Freemason for 4 years. I am a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, a 14th degree York Rite Mason, and a member of the Allied Masonic Degrees which is an innovation only organization its self much like the 33rd degree. If your grandfather was a 33rd degree you should feel very proud of that. Freemasons do not keep records of members families and force them to join. Freemasons do not worship the devil or teach that freemasonry is a replacement for religion. We teach a man to have a higher moral code. I would recommend a man to join the lodge system if it does not conflict with his religion and his family. In short we force no one to do something they do not want to do. We do not make a man join he has to ask to join. If anyone has any questions about Freemasonry just ask me and I will do my best to answer or try to find an answer.
