Re: How many of you are celebrating Thanksgiving alone?
Noticed a lot of divorcees around. Just a little heads up.

Read an article about how many men now a days let their wives break them down and be completely controlled. A lot of women (I'm one myself) have those controlling tendencies. Couple of years down the line, wife doesn't want to share a bed with a puppy anymore and goes out looking for a real man.

Morale- Feminism and equality are great things, but a man needs to be a man to be attractive. So don't back down- be the man of your house, it'll benefit both you and your family in the long run.

My son who is in his mid thirties has a wife who controls his every move!
She controls every thing literally!!!, She is also his mother in a sad way.
I have accused him of not wearing the pants in the house, and I wouldn't be surprised if she makes him wear a dress when he is home.
It is a sorry situation for sure.

I don't celebrate Christmas anymore now that I know Jesus is a Myth.

Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy.

He is called the father of lies.

Can you guess why?

Because he's so darn good at it!

I would be willing to bet my Christmas turkey that you also don't believe in Satan.

All the evil going on in our world is just one giant coincidence?

Come on, there is nothing sadder to see than a man who has been emasculated. I'm 26 and I have the most amazing husband in the world. He loves me and want the best for me, just like I love him and want the best for him. Sometimes I'm crazy and unreasonable and he indulges me anyway. But when he puts his foot down... I accept and respect that since it always turns out that it was for the best.

Men and women are essentially different and have different skills, priorities, values etc.

Pretending that we are all the same or that women should be in charge of men's every little move is what is destroying family values, not gay marriage or socialism.

Alone today, Fam tomorrow. I thank God especially today.

As a driver, I dread the silly season traffic. The Kush does help though.

The BD was last weekend, and I actually celebrated it for a change.

I believe our Bill of Rights was uniquely influenced by the Natives. Happy Thanksgiving ALL!

Not alone, but I feel alone. Without the girl I love most.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1171017

Sux bro! What happened?
 Quoting: SNOOCH

It just didn't work out. It's very hard for me to continue. Every day is a chore and I look forward to the end, as bad as that sounds. She is engaged to a guy now that could pass as my brother, we look a lot alike. I'm just glad that she is happy and really hope the best for her.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1171017

Holy SHIT! THAT sounds like an exact story of what happened to me a few years back (without the brother part...It was her boss).

I KNOW this IS hard! I KNOW the seconds tick like HOURS. I KNOW every waking moment you feel her in your soul. TRUST ME. I KNOW this. I went through the EXACT same thing.

You GOTTA hang in there! Have to keep the faith! I know its tough fella, but you have to be strong! Make it through this test, and you move on to the next level unscathed! Man if there was something magical I could give or say to you I would... But you have to keep moving forward my brother!

Life is YOURS to live! the ONLY thing that matters is this moment! Don't look too far forward, NEVER look back. Keep the good memories of you and her in your heart as the best times of your life and be thankful for them, but move on... If it truly was meant to be it will come again, but you HAVE a life to live and I wish you Godspeed on your journey! I'll pray for you brother!

Hang in there, "time heals ALL wounds" and "This too shall pass"

Keep the faith!
 Quoting: SNOOCH

Thanks bro, it is hard like I said but I'm trying to pick myself up and move on as best I can. This has been going on for 4 years now, it started when I was 20 with her. I feel like I have lost a lot of my life to this. I lost my job, wrecked my car, and failed out of school. Now I'm unemployed and am trying to make sense of all this.

I think I am going to look for a job on an oil rig somewhere and hopefully get my mind off all this and make a decent amount of money. I really want to move out of state and just get my mind straight again. Want to buy a new truck too.

Re: How many of you are celebrating Thanksgiving alone?
I'm celebrating thanksgiving alone and after years of marriage and dealing with the in-laws, I much prefer dining on the holidays at a Denny's or fastfood. Few years ago, it came down to me unconciously kicking my father in law at the first sight of him to even taking cheap shots like elbowing him at my wife's brother's wedding, etc.

When it came down to it, it was better for us to divorce before I did more to my in laws which I still don't have any regrets over.

Maybe when both die in a fiery car accident, me and the ex wife might get back together again.

YAY! I'm not the only one sick. I was suppose to work today, but probably won't get back to work to week later b/c of gallbladder problems. I have already been to the ER once, having it ultrasounded tomorrow.

Too be honest, this day sucked, and it makes it very difficult to be thankful for anything.

Misery loves company?

Watch some funny movies! Make some soup, I am...that's all I can eat. I ate some mashed potatoes, and it made me so much sicker.

Didn't mean to sound so callous. I meant some of us ARE alone, through no fault of our own (deaths, etc). And it can make you feel even more lonely when so many around you have families and are celebrating together.

So I blow off some negative energy by posting here. I guess that's wrong too. I DO wish everyone a good holiday. Honest.

I rescued a turkey today!

I feel great about it too.

I saw her locked in a freezer and wrapped in plastic so I took her home and warmed her up in my oven.

She was really hot and I couldn't handle myself so I ended up fisting her and stuffed her with all I had. Then I ate her breasts.

Better than being stuck in a damn freezer though!
