ThanksGiving Leftovers HELP!!

Do something decent, go and give it to someone who has no food or home.

I make up lots of enchiladas with the leftovers and freeze some. Turkey is great for Mexican food.

If you had that many guests you should have made everyone plates of food to take home. Cmon, son..........

Make some turkey noodle soup and give it to the homeless folks.Just make sure they keep the quart jars or whatever containers you have. and don't let the law catch you giving out food. It's illegal now. Esp in Florida, you cannot feed the homeless, they'll arrest you there.

Turkey tetrazinni (sp??) is a fav here. It freezes well, too. So, you could put a few together and freeze for later after you get past the "no more turkey EVER" stage.

And, you can always shred and freeze in 1 pound packs to use later.

Same in TN. Can't even buy them a hamburger at a fast food joint and hand it to them as you walk out the door.

you can take all the meat off the bones and put in ziplock bags and freeze.Thats what we do. also everything else goes in zips also.

its sad you can't help the homeles without getting arrested.

It's because the law doesn't recognize that there is a real problem. They just ignore like all everyone else does.
Like i said, just make sure you don't get caught esp in the cities where they have fucking street cameras, the goons!

So let me get this straight. The Money Men and Governments have made millions jobless, 1000's upon 1000's homeless but they then pass a law telling everyone not to help them?

This is just unreal, I'm gobsmacked. If the police arrested me for giving some food to a homeless family on christmas day I would kick up such a massive stink in the media.

Last night I made stuffed cabbage leaves with two cups cooked rice, two chopped and butter-sauteed onions, and two cups of minced ham (leftovers). Topped with a can of crushed tomatos and garlic; the filling was spiced with oregano, basil, paprika and a teaspoon of mustard.

Baked for 50 minutes @ 350 degrees.


Fed a few friends and the fellow who grew and donated the cabbage.
