OH FOR CHRISTS SAKE will you ones LEARN from the teaching several of us do??? FLARES ( ABCMX) are NOT CMEs. The CME is NOT graded like a flare. It is not graded at all except perhaps small medium large and huge. This one was large, not huge. YOU DO NOT SEE FLARES. They are invisible. They show up here and arrive in minutes. [link to www.n3kl.org] as you can see there wasn't even a "flare" with the CME. or at least not likely. the CME is an EJECTION OF MATTER. The flare doesn't always eject matter.

Our system has alot on its pallet right now,and most govt. sources are trying to palliate these occurences

there is going to be no doom from this CME, but dont you agree the chances of seeing some auroras interest us? we are paying attention. so many people missed out on last months auroras other than seeing the pictures. also, what we learned from last months events is that this is not like predicting the weather. Nobody, and i mean nobody, predicted what happened back on OCT 24. it was an amazing event.
