FLARES ( ABCMX) are NOT CMEs. The CME is NOT graded like a flare. It is not graded at all except perhaps small medium large and huge. This one was large, not huge. YOU DO NOT SEE FLARES. They are invisible. They show up here and arrive in minutes. [link to www.n3kl.org] as you can see there wasn't even a "flare" with the CME. or at least not likely. the CME is an EJECTION OF MATTER. The flare doesn't always eject matter. |

Nobody, and i mean nobody, predicted what happened back on OCT 24. it was an amazing event. |
