Turmeric alone is not effective due it's reduced bioavaliablity, to enhance its bioavalabiliy you have to dilute it it in warm flax seed oil or in warm water, or/and add piperine (black pepper) additionally effective dose of Turmeric is 1500mg/kg more info: Bioavailability of curcumin (She uses it vs. Multiple Melanoma): [link to margaret.healthblogs.org] Bioavailability in general [link to margaret.healthblogs.org] Compilation of trials on Turmeric (dosage , bioavailability etc.): [link to www.thedcasite.com] You can take it as powder + piperine (black pepper) or: [link to www.lef.org] [link to www.supersmart.com] |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1516551 Canada 11/27/2011 08:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In Traditional Chinese medicine ginger is known as jiang meaning "defend". Ginger is regarded as a plant taken to defend the body from dampness and cold (two of the "six evils%quot;). It stimulates yang-energy, and warms lung-energy and stomachenergy. Ginger has an affinity to the stomach, spleen, heart, lungs, and kidneys (the middle burner). I would want to rely on the cumin (turmeric) and the herb rosemary as well as kelp. from the sea which you get from health food stores. If you can make sure you get any thing good that hasn't been damaged from radiation. |

Their entire family smokes Pot from the Grandfather and Grand Mother whom both died 10 years ago from Lung Cancer to the Teenager nieces and nephews of today. Only 2 people in that family smoke cigarettes. I dont care eitherway, but it sure looks like smoking pot can cause lung cancer to me, I don't need a doctor to tell me that coating my lungs with marijuana resin / tar will eventually lead to cancer. But then again, you are most likely looking for reasons to validate your pothead lifestyle. go for it, I just hope you dont get cancer too. By the way, I take Tumeric daily for the last 4 years as a part of my daily vitamins / supplements / Nutrients Last Edited by ***DRAGOON*** on 11/27/2011 09:00 AM |

Debauchery User ID: 5892134 United States 11/27/2011 09:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So many so called cures. It's mind boggling. Which one to choose? It's not like cancer patients can load up on every single thing that others have claimed effective and they certainly don't have the time to do one course of this and then move on to that. And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it. I am an evil giraffe, and I shall eat more leaves from this tree than perhaps I should, so that other giraffes may die. |

I sometimes drink a heaping teaspoon of turmeric powder and an 1/8 tsp or so of fresh ground peppercorns dissolved in hot water as an evening tea. It tastes better than black coffee and is really healthy. If you have digestive problems don't eat anything before the tea for 4 hours, then drink it and go to bed. Do this for 3 days and it will really help. Uncle |
