I have cramp ons micro spikes for my boots. Winter is icy here in the Mitten State. I have Stitched leather boots with a Vibram Sole and Goretex lining, along with some insulation for cold temps. They have also been treated with Nikwax to add extra water resistance. [ link to www.youtube.com] Wow those are heavy duty. Do you work outdoors? Mine are built ins. I have the clamp on ones but prefer my built ins. They are housed in rubber and the upper is waterproofed sheepskin for warmth. They swivel around to adjust easily if you want to go into a store or building in them. Best invention for those of us that live in the land of ice and snow.
