Nobody said there were 'no jobs'. There's not enough jobs. There are far more people looking for jobs than jobs being offered. And this is more prevalent in some places than others. Your anecdotal evidence to the contrary is nonsense. It's not the norm.

Manual labor? Omg they are to good for that LMAO…. I have three openings here for skilled technicians and can’t find anybody. The workforce we have to draw from are a bunch of collage educated to good to do a hard days labor.

Have a taste of my world, most of the applications i made last week are still the only jobs available. The number of applicants for each position are now numbering 70+. 70 fucking people going for one job. I've had too many motorcycle accidents to be able to efficiently shovel shit, i could do it, but one day for sure my back will let out. I was doing Labouring, but after being left as the only person holding a wall partition, my back let go. TWO whole bottles of entonox later and we made it to hospital. They said i consumed more entonox than a woman in labour. The guy in the back of the ambulance with me was hanging out the window to avoid getting high.

It's untrue. If there are 10,000 jobs, and 100,000 job seekers, where do you expect those additional 90,000 jobs to come from?

What kind of advertising have you done?

I usually find that when people claim to have jobs that no-one will do, their form of advertising using involves telling a few people and maybe putting a sign in the window.

Put an ad in the local and state wide paper. Place ads on craigslist and other online job places.

And please drop the requirement that your hole digger be fluent in spanish and have a 2-year history in digging ditches before employment. (Based entirely on local ads.)

I am registered with work in Texas and their job matching SUCKS. I get matched with stuff like "welding instructor", when I have never welded anything in my life, I have worked behind a desk since I was 17 and have to hunt down the jobs I am qualified for.

That may be part of the problem, depending on how the job is listed.
