Anonymous Coward User ID: 961432 United States 11/29/2011 02:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Lets look at a typical product manufactured in China and then sold in America or Europe, an iPod. It costs about $300, of that $300, $200 goes to apple, another $98 goes to distribution chain and $2 goes to the Chinese corporation and labor that manufactured the product. $2 for a $300 product. Of course things are falling apart, just like here they built everything on debt (financialized) that could never be paid off. The only ones getting wealthy off the "Chinese Miracle" are the global corporations exploiting their cheap labor and non existent environmental laws. |

Quoting: AnonyMouse Howard No, Bangkok is still having serious flooding problems. I am currently in Phuket which is an island. The water is receding but not very fast. Last week I was in Pattaya 1 hour outside Bangkok. Most of the people have gone there because there is no flooding there. I can tell you all the foreigners are in either Pattaya or Phuket because Bangkok is going to take a long time to dry out. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1325985 Would be strange when that wouldn't happen but until now things are still OK here. I do have read about problems occurring but not bigger problems as they have been before like the picture OP tries to portray here is absolute rubbish. That is likely to happen when the shit completely hits the fan on the world market but until now....not yet. Sorry OP....try again in a few months from now but by then this GLP might be vanished due to what ever reason your government might decide to do for you guys.... Marshal law perhaps?
