I use craigslist daily, I post an add for my carpentry services and get calls daily for work. I buy and sell tools on there also. You just have to know who and what you are dealing with. It can be dangerous I hear some horror stories about people who responded to adds. I am a pretty good judge of character so that helps. I personally have never had a bad experience. I would say that 99% is legit, it is the 1% you have to worry about.
