But, Jesus is hurt that many Christians reject His mother's help. You can have both, more grace then TxGal. Genesis 3:15 is true. And the footnote to Genesis 3:15 I posted explains very well. There can be no disagreement. [link to www.drbo.org] It's sad, look at the KJV Bible on Genesis 3:15. Talk about altered! |

Repeating a prayer is a good thing, especially from the heart. Jesus meant 'vanity', having others see you pray, etc. Doesn't Scripture say "vain repetition?" The beads are just for counting. And, you can use your 10 fingers to count a decade, you don't need a rosary. Here's instruction. Start off with one decade, if it's too hard to do the five decades at first. You can walk a pray the Rosary. Try to do it every day. Oh the grace come down when you say the Rosary, it's really true. [link to www.rosary-center.org] I am happy you pray to the Father TxGal. Watching that recent "baby's development in the womb video, it was the scientist's words more than the short film. He speaks at the beginning and at the end. Oh my gosh, what he says. It makes your desire for Heaven...stronger! How could God do this.... Mary |

Walden Schmidt User ID: 5943151 United States 12/01/2011 12:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks, OP... True story: I'm Baptist. Mother Angelica sent me a Rosary, and I carried it on a trip to Central America. Kept my Rosary on the top of my backpack, and touched it/prayed it on my travels. To me, it was a connection to God in my journey. Long story, short... (For Protestants: NO, I didn't 'worship' the Rosary beads... They were simply a connection and a touchstone for me, to connect and remember God)... Got to an airport in Guatemala, and Security there searched everyone... except me and my Girlfriend... Security: "You have the Rosary?". Me: "Si!"... (He waved me through). -------------- Got to the bus in Chetumal, Mexico ... Bus got stopped and searched... Policia saw my Rosary, and waved us through. -------------- I did NOT use it as a talisman, BUT, I DO believe that God honored my observance of the prayers that the Rosary reminded me of, to grant me special GRACE in my times of need. ------------- I DO appreciate the Rosary, its meaning and purpose, and sincerely appreciate the fact that the token reminded me of God's mercy. We all have common ground, if we can open our eyes and hearts. "It Ain't That Big a Deal...". |

kat User ID: 4681212 United States 12/01/2011 10:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have the rosary that my "father" gave to my birth mother when he dropped her off at the home for unwed mothers. My mother made sure she gave it to me. Good grief. It is one of those jewelry store rosaries that is crystal and sterling. Very pretty. Needless to say it tarnishes (pun intended) my feelings about saying the rosary. My father was quite the hypocrite. Like a previous poster said, I carry it when I fly, as a talisman. I have never been able to pray to Mary. Seems like an unnecessary step. I would just rather go right to the source. I think you have gone a little too far with your interpretation of Gen 3:15. Matthew 6:7 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6067235 UNDENIABLE !!! Ac 6067235, Our Lord is talking about a no no, praying so others see and hear you pray, NOT "repeating" a prayer from the heart. Put that verse in context to understand it ~ Matthew 6:7-8 [6] But thou when thou shalt pray, enter into thy chamber, and having shut the door, pray to thy Father in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret will repay thee. [7] And when you are praying, speak not much, as the heathens. For they think that in their much speaking they may be heard. [8] Be not you therefore like to them, for your Father knoweth what is needful for you, before you ask him. |

Our Lady is most blessed and She is here in these days to help us. We should be very grateful that Almighty has let her visit us. |

They can throw more bible quote at you than a hooker can get tricks by throwing free samples to a jail full of men inmates. They will beat you with their pompous arrogance and hypocrisy. Also, they don't even know the real meaning of most of the bible quotes they toss at you. If God doesn't give them the grace to understand, no man can make them understand. |

I have not taken it out of context . It is in a whole other sentence , separate to the other verses . The Catholic Church is a Pagan Church and those verses I posted are spot on . |
