If you expect to see any given number, you will see it, everywhere.

It's unexpected. I put my clock on 24 hour time. Today I saw 14:14, 16:16, 17:17, and 21:21. Not by trying to see them, just for some reason looked at the clock at those times.

I see 10:17 alot, daily. Also, almost every time I look at a digital clock, within 2 seconds the time changes.

Yes I too have been [cursed or blessed] with this phenomenon, from 1996 onwards I started seeing 11:11, but knowing it meant something. It would occur on any digital device, counters would end with a deviation of 11:11. After about two years it started to slow down and then the occasional 11 would pop up here and there, and I would just shrug it off to being a body clock synchronization event. As in affirming a confirmation of a wake time and so forth, anyhow in the last year it is back with vengeance both in digital and analogue. I now know prior to looking at whatever is around me that an 11:11 will pop up, nightly I wake to an: 11, the more I try to stop looking the more I feel compelled to look. Now I just accept whatever it is and listen to the stillness of the moment, and at times I have asked What ! [Bit frustrated]. Hopefully all will be known soon.
