I have someone on Facebook who is always posting about her yet everytime I read some utter crap the singer has said in public I just don't want to bother listening.
Then in another thread someone posted a song of hers and I realize I had heard it, just never made the connection.

Her voice is not that great at all. There were a lot of chicks in the 80s with similar voices but much better.

Thank you OP. I was just talking shit about her 6 Grammy winning ass and I saw this post. That was just lame. I'm never watching the Grammy Awards again. Kanye and JZee were said to not be able to be present, but I think they didn't want to be present for that travesty. I kept imagining Kanye tackling Taylor swift down during her performance. That would have made the Grammy's awesome! She can sing, but I still change the station every time I hear one of her songs on. What in hell are those Grammy voters thinking.

I had no idea who she was and I loved Rolling in the Deep the first time I heard it. It's a great song. She has a powerful voice.

I really find her music depressing. There are good "sad" songs out there, but damn she just murders the mood. I boycotted Barnes & Noble for playing her crap 10 times per hour... what the hell were they thinking?

When you go onto YouTube and you listen to any pre-1980s song there will be a million peoples in the comment-section complaining about how modern-day music is rubbish. They for some reason always use lady gaga as an example... First off, I'm nor particularly a fan of gaga, and yes, she is a Muppet, and yes, she ruins all of her music with computers. But she can sing and she is creative and her songs do make sense in their own freaky universe.

Where as Adele, the morbidly obese cow with her Primark dress-sense, is left untouched. While her lyrics are completely nonsensical, she can't play piano for shit (listen and watch any live recording), its all two or three simple chords repeated (and not in an innovative way, eg Nirvana) and when she speaks (I myself like my idols witty and/or outspoken) its just arse water that comes out.

Two more things; one; why do all current (female) singer-songwriters have to sound so bloody nasal? and two; I had to change my own bloody funeral arrangements because this overweight monstrosity thought it was ok for her to cover a Dylan-tune.

The future is not Adele anyway, she is being dropped by the label and I know, better start looking at Elainee as she is the pop star that will stay, Adele is quitting, I know I work in the office at a label.

She is quitting music. Elainee a no one artist will all of a sudden make it bigger then adele, watch and see, look listen to her stuff, real and very hip hop. pop

Her voice is alright. Much better than the garbage you commonly here these days. Granted some of her songs suck, but there are others which are quite nice.
